Mission: Serving God by supporting our churches as they encourage today's youth in following Jesus.

Vision: Our vision is to strengthen youth ministry in healthy local churches as they pursue their mandate to develop young people who are:

  • Clear in their identity as a child of God
  • Connected in community
  • Cultivating intimacy with Jesus
  • Christ-like in their character
  • Contagious and active faith

Values:

  • God Glorifying (Psalm 66:1-2)
  • Christ Centred (Colossians 1:18)
  • Spirit Empowered (Acts 1:8)
  • Bible Based (II Tim. 3:16; Matt. 28:18-20)
  • Local Church focused (I Peter 2:4-10; Acts 2:42-47)
  • Intentionally Inclusive (Rev. 15:4; Gal. 3:26-28)

Practices:

  • We live out authentic lives (Eph. 4:25)
  • We empower courageous leadership (I Cor. 4:16; Rom 12:8; Dan. 12:3)
  • We affirm the priesthood of all believers (I Pet. 2:9; Heb. 10:19-23)
  • We equip gift-oriented ministry (I Cor. 12; Eph 4:11-13; Rom. 12:5-8)
  • We pursue excellence (Col. 3:17)
  • We are committed to accountability (Luke 17:3; Prov 27:17)
  • We are balanced in evangelism and discipleship (Matt. 28:19,20)
  • We are diligent in cultural engagement (Matt. 5:13-16; Mark 16:15)
  • We ensure healthy environments (Mark 9:42; Mark 10:14)
  • We model healthy communication (Eph 4:15: Prov. 22:11)
  • We seek strategic partnerships (Phil. 1:3-6)

Strategy:

We serve our churches through four main avenues:

  • Consultations: Both with youth workers (whether on staff or volunteer) or with churches, we meet with you to discuss a variety of youth ministry issues, from "how do we hire a youth pastor" to sensitive issues and conflict resolution.
  • Curriculum/resources: Alongside our own annual curriculum, we can recommend some great resources that suit your ministry needs, both for your students as well as your own development.
  • M:Launch: Our short term mission pathway and pathway to missional living. It is a stratified approach to short term mission, with three levels: M1 (entry-level mission opportunities for high school students), M2 (mid-length mission opportunities for young adults) and M (longer-term opportunities for young adults considering a calling to vocational ministry).
  • Events: Whether it's our pre-evangelistic events with the Raptors or Medieval Times to our annual winter retreats (Avalanche and Blizzard) to our training events, we've got venues that engage at various stages in a person's faith journey.
